At IGTools, your privacy is our foundational priority. We operate under strict zero-retention guidelines for personal credentials and data archives.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, request, or store your Instagram passwords, login credentials, or authentication session cookies. All utilities run without user authentication.
2. In-Browser Client-Side Processing
Tools involving personal data archives (such as the Unfollowers Tracker and Instagram Wrapped) execute 100% locally inside your web browser using HTML5 FileReader. The data you inspect is never uploaded, transferred, or stored on our servers.
3. Server Logs & Rate Limiting
To prevent automated denial-of-service abuse and scraping, our servers temporarily record anonymized IP hashes and rate limit counters in volatile memory (transients) that automatically expire within 60 seconds.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use local storage exclusively to remember your visual preferences (such as Light/Dark theme selection). We do not deploy tracking cookies for cross-site profiling.
